Dierks School Board Approves Personnel, Travel, and Maintenance Items During Monthly Meeting

The Dierks School Board met Tuesday for their regular monthly meeting, approving several personnel, travel, and operational items for the upcoming school year.
During the meeting, board members approved the hiring of Tiffini Cox as a paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year according to the district salary schedule. The board also approved Daniell Willis as a food service employee for the upcoming school year.
The board approved out-of-state travel for the Dierks girls basketball team to travel to Gulf Shores, Alabama, from June 2 through June 4, 2026.
Board members also approved EBI as the district’s student insurance provider for the 2026-2027 school year and approved the 2026-2027 LEA Assurances.
In other business, the board approved Quincy Alexander and Pitchford as summer floor workers. Both employees will work up to 240 hours at a rate of $22 per hour, totaling $5,280 each. The board also approved the purchase of floor supplies from ACME Janitor and Chemical Supply at a cost of $26,454.16.
