Dierks School Board extends contract with financial advisor

The Dierks School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Monday.
There was a motion passed unanimously to employ First Security Beardsley as Financial Advisor for a period of 3 years effective as of the date of adoption.
A motion was made by Laykon Graham and seconded by Kara Tedford to accept a quote from Cadence Insurance for School Board Legal Liability and Employment in the amount of $6,980, as well as General Liability Coverage Outside of Arkansas in the amount of $541.00 for the policy term February 1st 2023 to February 1st 2024.
Superintendent Grover Hill discussed the use of the superintendent’s house. 

The board agreed to allow Travis Young to start the removal process in exchange for salvageable material.
