Dierks School Board votes to fill some personnel positions during special meeting
May 9th, the Dierks School Board held a special called meeting to fill some personnel positions within the district.
Board members accepted the resignation of Jana Strode the district’s Speech Therapist, Tristan Snider as a teacher and coach and Tara Sims from food services. Snider resigned after accepting an offer to become an assistant football coach at his alma mater, De Queen High School. Snider will be coaching the Leopard’s offensive and defensive lineman.
Perla Cervantes was hired as the 7th through 12th grade English teacher. Haley Davies was hired to be a third grade literacy teacher and elementary teacher. And, Corey Robertaon was hired as a special education teacher.
The Dierks Board of Education will meet during their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 21st at 5 pm.
