Dierks School District considering RAVE program

The Dierks School Board held their regular monthly meeting last week.

High School Principal Gene Strode stated that the RAVE program has been activated for the Dierks School District. Strode mentioned emails have been sent out to the teachers and staff with instructions to set up the RAVE Facility.

Strode even mentioned that their school resource Officer Zack Shankles is the point of contact for the RAVE program.

Strode discussed his communication with RAVE and how G.O. got everything started.

RAVE is a smartphone mobile app that with the push of a button instantly communicates any type of emergency to 9-1-1, while simultaneously connecting to on-site personnel, first responders and those involved to keep everyone informed and engaged throughout a situation.
