Dierks School District receives School Safety Grant

Last week, members of the Dierks School Board held their regular monthly meeting.

During the meeting, Business Manager Kayla Jones reported that the district received the school safety grant in the amount of $112,900 dollars. There was a motion made by Justin Simmons and seconded by Jeffrey Mounts to accept three quotes from Home Pro Institutional totaling $57,642.62 for door hardware and cores and padlock for hardware. The quotes will be paid for using the school safety grant. All were in favor of the motion.
