Dierks School Hosts Champion Rally; Glory Bee Soup Kitchen Serves Community Meals

There are a couple of special community events happening today across Howard County.

The Dierks School District will host the 2025 Grand Prize Winner Champion Rally this morning at the Dierks High School Gym. The event runs from 9:45 a.m. until noon and will celebrate this year’s grand prize winners with students, staff, and the community.

Later today, the Glory Bee Soup Kitchen will be serving free meals at the Mineral Springs Church of Christ, located at 318 Bridgeman Drive in Mineral Springs. Meals will be available from 2 to 5 p.m., with a menu that includes ham sandwiches, chips, and cookies.

The Glory Bee Soup Kitchen serves the community on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month from 2 to 5 p.m. For more information, you can call 870-451-4441.
