Domestic call results in drug arrest
On February 5th, Howard County Deputy Jake Eudy responded to a domestic dispute on Hwy 278 in Center Point.
As reported Deputy Eudy arrived on the scene where he made contact with a subject outside of the residence that he knew to be 31 year Joshua Dildy of Nashville.
According to the affidavit Dildy allegedly took a black zipper bag and put it under the driver’s seat of a car parked in the yard, locked the vehicle, and threw the car keys toward the house.
It was reported that Dildy told Deputy Eudy that the bag contained some old meth baggies and syringes. Officers then used an unlock kit to unlock the vehicle. As officers began to search the vehicle, Dildy confessed that there was a firearm under the driver’s seat. Officers reportedly found a jennings 22 pistol, 7 syringes, and a glass ashtray with a white crystal like substance inside of it. Officers also seized several small plastic baggies, one of which contained a white crystal like substance that was suspected to be methamphetamine.
Dildy was arrested and charged with possession of firearms by a certain person, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
