Driver Test Reservation Coming Available
Arkansans who are about to begin the process of obtaining their driver’s license will soon be able to reserve a specific date and time to take the written test. The scheduling tool is currently limited to 2 locations, however, in the coming months the goal is to extend these opportunities across the state. This service is intended to help parents and guardians who typically have to rearrange their schedules to accompany a son or daughter to begin the testing process. This will also help to reduce wait time and long lines found at local DMV’s. The Arkansas State Police have also produced a video that’s available to help written test applicants to better prepare for the test. The production of this video is the state’s response to 2019 test data which shows that more than 63,000 of the 111,000 written test takers failed the test.
