Drug Charges Filed After Pike County Traffic Stop
Two individuals are facing felony drug charges following a recent traffic stop in Pike County. Authorities say 48 year old Brenda Moore of Delight and 55 year old Gregory Myrick of Murfreesboro were traveling along Highway 26 when their vehicle was stopped by state troopers for crossing the center line. During the stop, state police and sheriff’s deputies were given consent to search the vehicle which police say led to the discovery of assorted pills along with plastic baggies, methamphetamine, marijuana and assorted drug paraphernalia items. 900 dollars in cash was also recovered.
Moore and Myrick are charged with Possession With Purpose To Deliver and with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Meth.
