Duck Season opens Saturday

Arkansas biggest hunting season of the year starts this Saturday, November 18.

More than 100,000 people are expected to flock to Arkansas to get in on the duck hunting action in the Natural State. The question is, “will you be one of the them?”

If you plan to go duck hunting this weekend there are few things you need to remember. You will need your hunting license, proof of Arkansas Harvest Information Program registration and both federal and state duck stamps.

Hunters can register for their HIP when the purchase their license at any Arkansas Game and Fish Commission office or online. You can purchase your hunting license at www.ar-licensing.s3licensing.com.

Shooting is allowed from 30-minutes before sunrise to noon during regular duck season.
