Easterling speaks to Rotary Club about new school fishing team at Nashville

Wednesday, former Nashville High School football coach and junior high teacher, Jimi Easterling spoke to the Nashville Rotary Club about the district’s new fishing team.
Easterling stated he had started a fishing at Haskell Harmony Grove prior to accepting a position with the Nashville School District. He said he had hoped to start a fishing team here, but did not have the opportunity until he resigned from the district this past spring to accept a video editors position with a YouTube fishing company.
Eaterling said he loves to fish and realizes that fishing is something young people can do for the rest of their lives.

Easterling said there are five fishing tournament circuits in Arkansas and the sport is not managed by the Arkansas Activities Association. He also said he was planning to host club tournaments for only Nashville School District students.
