Eighteen Steers Stolen Near AR-TX-OK Border; Sheriff’s Office Investigating

The Little River County Sheriff’s Office has reported the theft of eighteen (18) 700-800 lb steers from the area in the southwest corner of Arkansas (bordering TX & OK). The victim believes that they were taken late in the evening or overnight Sunday, June 1, 2025.

The cattle were described as all solid colored steers that would be black, red, or yellow. Two of the steers have “N2” branded on the upper right hip, blue Nueces ear tags in the right ear, and left ear is notched at the 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock position. Sixteen of the steers were branded with a “W” on the left hip, no ear notch, and have yellow ear tags in the left ear.

Any information can be reported to the Little River County Sheriff’s Department or Arkansas Department of Agriculture, Law Enforcement Division.
