Enrollment is up at South Pike County School District
South Pike County Superintendent, Brad Sullivan reported the district reached the 70 percent threshold for free and reduced lunch and all lunches will be free for all students for the remainder of the year.
Sullivan also reported enrollment is up by 19 students.
Board members accepted the bid of $35,777.77 from Henry Ward of Ward’s Shavings for the district’s plant property.
The elementary roof project is about 97 percent complete and work on the high school roof project should be completed by the end of October or first of November.
