Entergy customers will see rate increase
Entergy has announced plans for a rate increase. Company officials say higher natural gas prices is the reason for the increase, which was approved by the Arkansas Public Service Commission. The increase will be added to the Energy Cost Recovery fee on bills. The total increase that customers could see on their bill will vary based on their individual energy usage and the kilowatt-hours consumed at their home. Entergy officials say the average residential customer who uses 1,000 kilowatt hours per month will see a total bill increase of 7.5%, or roughly $8
This rate will be effective through March 2023, unless an interim adjustment is needed.
Entergy’s territory includes portions of Pike, Nevada, and Montgomery counties.
