Execution of search warrant results in arrest of Glenwood woman
The execution of a search warrant has led to felony drug charges being filed against a Glenwood woman. 62 year old Suzanne Mary Burgess is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, meth cocaine. Arkansas State Police and the Pike County Sheriff’s Department executed the search warrant in relation to a homicide investigation taking place in Montgomery County. Burgess’ husband was the victim in that homicide and authorities wanted to search the residence in Glenwood for possible evidence.
While searching, authorities say Pike County Sheriff Travis Hill located a small zip lock baggie containing a white crystal like substance, believed to be methamphetamine within a bedroom at the home. Police also say they also recovered a pipe used for smoking marijuana, along with other drug paraphernalia.
