Extension Office offering Best Care training online

Best Care training is again being offered this year by the cooperative extension service for child care providers. Unlike years past, this year’s training will be offered only through an online method, due to COVID-19.
The ten hour training session is available by going to the web address of courses.uaex.edu. Additional instructions are provided on the website. The best care classes will be offered online through June 30th
Once all ten hours has been completed, participants will be able to print their own certificate for their files.
This year’s course topics are Be Wise About Portion Size, Farm to Classroom, Owning Your Own Feelings, Helping Children Deal with Strong Feelings, Importance of Physical Activity, Mindfulness, Professionalism, Time Management, Circle Time Strategies, and Block Play.
