Filing period opens Tuesday at noon

The political candidate filing period opens tomorrow at noon. In Howard County, candidates running with a party, must pay their fees to those parties. All candidates, including party, independent, or school board, must submit the required paperwork to the Howard County Clerk’s office at the courthouse.
The filing period will last a week, and is set to close at noon on Tuesday, March 1st.
The party primary elections will take place Tuesday, May 24th.
