First Church of God Tollette to Host Annual Community Fish Fry Benefiting Randy Sams’ Shelter

TOLLETTE — The First Church of God in Tollette will host their annual Community Fish Fry tomorrow beginning at 10 a.m., inviting residents to enjoy food and fellowship while supporting a local cause.
The event will also serve as a donation drive for the Randy Sams’ Shelter, which assists individuals experiencing homelessness and hardship. Organizers say the shelter’s population is currently made up of approximately 70% men and 30% women, creating an ongoing need for essential supplies.
Community members are encouraged to bring donations of items such as underwear, feminine hygiene products, deodorant, shaving supplies, toothpaste, large men’s shoes, small men’s pants, bras, bottled water, flip flops, cheater glasses, cold, flu and indigestion tablets, and commercial trash bags.
The First Church of God is located at 946 Martin Luther King Drive in Tollette.
Church members say the annual fish fry is an opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy a meal, and help provide much-needed items for those in need.
