First United Methodist Church of Nashville Hosts Community-Wide Vacation Bible School Celebration This Saturday

The First United Methodist Church of Nashville, located at 1403 W. Sunset Street, is inviting the entire community to take part in a day of fun, faith, and fellowship during their Vacation Bible School (VBS) celebration, happening tomorrow, Saturday, July 19.

Susan Nanneman, a longtime member of the church, shared that the church has been holding Vacation Bible School for about 75 years, and this year, they wanted to offer something a little different to reach even more people in the community.

With the uplifting theme, “God Loves the Whole World,” this year’s event is open to all ages and promises a variety of engaging and family-friendly activities.

Nanneman said attendees can look forward to crafts, music, delicious food, games, a water slide, fishing, and even gardening — all designed to share joy and spiritual connection in a fun setting.

Whether you’re a member of the church or just looking for a great way to spend your Saturday with family and friends, First United Methodist Church welcomes everyone to join in the celebration.

The event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and is completely free to attend.
