FOIA lawsuit filed locally against Arkansas State Parks Department

Marketing Director of The Murfreesboro Advertising and Tourism Commission Jonathan Lance has filed a complaint in the Small Claims Division in the district court of Pike County against the Arkansas State Parks.

Lance’s complaint states that he filed an AR Freedom of Information Act request with Arkansas State Park Employer Tayler Markham on November 18th at 10:36am.

According to the complaint Lance’s request included any and all information relating to the 2.85-carat diamond registered at The Crater of Diamond State Parkon November 6th. 

Lance stipulates that as of 11:00am Wednesday November 30th he had not received any of the registered documents. Lance is requesting court costs and provision of requested documents.
