Forgery Charges Filed In Howard County

Forgery charges have been filed in relation to an incident that occurred last summer in Nashville. 50 year old Ty Starr is accused of stealing the title for a 2006 motor home from L&W Auto Sales. Police say in July of last year, Starr took the title to the Howard County Revenue Office to transfer ownership of the motor home to him. However, the business owner, Lloyd Woodruff, said he never signed the title over to Starr.

At the time of the incident last year, Starr had a Mineral Springs address.

According to a warrant issued late last week for his arrest in connection to the forgery charges along with phone threats he allegedly made as well last week to Woodruff, local law enforcement and Prosecuting Attorney Bryan Chesshir’s office, Starr is now living in Indiana.
