Former employee charged with Theft of Property from local business

A former employee of the EZ-Mart in Dierks has been charged with Theft of Property. Police say 23 year old Kimberly Ruth is charged with stealing $960 dollars in lottery tickets from the store. Authorities say the tickets had cash winnings of $580 dollars. Police and store management watched surveillance video and say it showed Ruth taking the lottery tickets on three separate occasions. She has entered a not guilty plea to the charges and is scheduled for a trail date of November 17th.
