Fundraising Efforts Underway To Benefit Local Teacher

Teachers at Nashville elementary and junior high schools are teaming up to assist one of their fellow staff members. Ace Howard, a 6th grade teacher at Nashville elementary, recently underwent surgery and is going through chemotherapy treatment. Elementary Principal Rick Rebsamen says students are raising money for the chance to put a pie in the face of a teacher.

In addition to the faculty, Rebsamen says the public can also contribute.

The event is scheduled for February 4th.
