Gideons International Representative Speaks to Nashville Rotary Club

Members of the Nashville Rotary Club heard from Ed McCrary of Gideons International during Wednesday’s meeting.

McCrary discussed the history of Gideons International, which was founded in 1899, and shared how he became involved with the organization. He also spoke about the group’s mission and his own experience as a Rotarian.

McCrary also highlighted the organization’s worldwide outreach efforts, including the number of Bibles distributed each year.

He went on to discuss some of the locations where Gideons place Bibles and recognized the role of women ministers who are involved with the organization’s work.

The Nashville Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at noon at the UA Cossatot Nashville campus.
