Gillham resident dies from injuries following accident

A Sevier County woman has died from injuries she received in a one vehicle accident that occurred earlier this month near Nashville. State police reports say 66 year old Donna Casswell of Gillham was the driver of a 1995 Mercury Tracker that was traveling south on U.S. Highway 278 October 14th. The vehicle left the roadway & overturned near the Jamison Road intersection. Casswell was initially treated at the scene by Center Point Fire Department first responders and then transported to Howard Memorial Hospital. She was later taken to a Hot Springs hospital.
Authorities said Casswell died from her injures October 26th.
State Trooper Ian Nelson was the investigating officer.
