GLENWOOD JOINS MAIN STREET ARKANSAS

The Glenwood Downtown Network was recently accepted into Main Street Arkansas as an entry level program. This news comes after many months of the Glenwood Downtown Network board working through a competitive application and interview process.

As one of Arkansas’ newest Main Street communities, joining a statewide network dedicated to downtown revitalization, economic growth, and historic preservation,
this prestigious recognition has come at the perfect time for a once thriving downtown.

“We are so excited to be able to officially announce our partnership with Main Street Arkansas. With their expertise, guidance, training, and assistance, partnered with the Main Street America Four-Point Approach, we feel confident that we will be able to continue the incredible work already being done in our downtown district from organizations such as the Glenwood Revitalization Group. This opportunity to serve our community is not one that will be taken lightly or for granted.” -Kayla Hartsfield, President of the Glenwood Downtown Network board
