Glenwood man arrested on 20 CSAM charges

A Glenwood man was arrested Thursday after Arkansas State Police ICAC Division agents, Homeland Security personnel and Pike County Sheriff’s Office investigators executed a search warrant at a residence as part of an ongoing investigation.

According to the Pike County Sheriff’s Office, Jay Bishop was taken into custody Aug. 20 and charged with 20 counts of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities said additional charges could be filed as evidence is reviewed.

The Pike County Sheriff’s Office thanked the Arkansas State Police and Homeland Security for their partnership in the investigation and efforts to protect children in the community.

Bishop is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
