Glenwood man arrested on drug charges in Nashville

Nashville police say a traffic stop has resulted in the arrest of one person on felony drug charges. 40 year old Joseph Pumilia, Jr. of Glenwood, was arrested by officer Dustin Wakefield During the traffic stop, the officer said he asked Pumilia if he had any illegal drugs in his possession and was given consent to search. During that process, police say they discovered multiple empty plastic baggies in Pumilia’s pants pockets. Authorities say another plastic bag, containing a crystal like substance, believed to be methamphetamine, fell from Pumilia’s pants leg.
He was taken to the Howard County Jail and is being charged with Possession of meth, with purpose to deliver. Pumilia was also detained on an outstanding failure to appear warrant.
