Glenwood man charged with Aggravated Assault

Aggravated Assault charges have been filed in Pike County Circuit Court against a Glenwood man.  62 year old Howard Donald Green is accused of pointing a handgun at an individual last July. Green was detained by officers at the Pike County Fairgrounds and transferred to the Pike County Jail.  Officers say the incident began Green followed two truck drivers to a convenience store and approached them to complain that the drivers were harassing him by driving past Green’s residence..  Officers said that a search of Green’s vehicle led them to find a 9MM pistol and two loaded magazines for a Glock 45. In addition to the Aggravated Assault charge, Green has also been charged with a misdemeanor count of Harassment.
