Glenwood Resident Killed In Automobile Accident

State Police say a Glenwood woman was killed and one other person injured Sunday morning in a two vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 70.

The victim was identified as 58 year old Paula Hernandez. Reports said Hernandez was the driver of a GMC pickup traveling west. Her vehicle was struck by an oncoming Mazda that police say had crossed the center line. Authorities did not release the name of the person driving the Mazada. A minor aged passenger in the Hernandez vehicle was also injured in the accident and was transported to a Hot Springs hospital.

The accident happened around 6:15 AM in Montgomery County.
