Goff signs with OBU to run track

Friday, December 16, four Nashville High School student-athletes signed National Letters of Intent to continue their athletic careers in college, while pursuing their degrees.

Journey Pope signed with the University of the Ozarks to play tennis. Miller Goff signed with Ouachita Baptist University to run track. Wade Wescott signed with UA Cossatot to compete on the school’s shooting sports team. And, Sloan Perrin signed with Harding University to play football.

The ceremony was attended by the four student’s families and teammates.

Southwest Arkansas Radio is focusing on each individual student-athlete over the next couple of days. Today, we will spotlight Miller Goff.

Goff is one of the first student-athlete’s signed by OBU to compete for their newly formed track program. Nashville Head Coach Jerrod Jones stated Goff has already competed in a meet this year as an individual and that he is looking forward to what Goff is able to accomplish his senior season.

Thursday, Southwest Arkansas Radio will spotlight Sloan Perrin.
