Governor Encourages Residents To Continue Social Distancing

In Monday’s press conference regarding COVID-19, Governor Asa Hutchinson said state residents can’t let up on the social distancing and other precautions being taken to slow the virus spread.

The governor also announced the formation of a medical advisory board that will help make recommendations for how we go forward once the number of cases begins declining. Dr. Nate Smith, head of the Arkansas Department of Health, will serve as chairperson for the board.
