Harvest Regional Food Bank to Distribute USDA Food Boxes in Howard County

Harvest Regional Food Bank, in partnership with Sunset Church of Christ, will be distributing TEFAP USDA Commodity Food Boxes to Howard County residents on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. The distribution event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., or until all boxes are distributed. The distribution will take place at Sunset Church of Christ, located at 1420 W Sunset St., Nashville, AR.

Residents needing assistance should first check in at the Fellowship Building, situated behind the church. After checking in, recipients are asked to return to their vehicles and line up in the church parking lot for further instructions. Volunteers will be available to assist throughout the process.

To receive a food box, participants must provide a valid driver’s license with their current address or other photo identification proving Howard County residency, along with proof of address. Each household is eligible for one box, and a maximum of two households may be served per vehicle.

The next mobile pantry event is scheduled for November 13, 2024.
