HC Quorum Court holds first meeting of the year; sets date and time for monthly meetings

The Howard County Quorum Court held a brief meeting to establish the meeting dates and times for the new two year office term. 
County Treasurer Sherri Mixon provided an overview of the financial report.

Justices of the Peace approved a motion to continue the process of meeting the third Monday of each month unless that day falls on a holiday. In that case, the meeting will be delayed one day. The court also will continue to use the “Robert’s Rules of Order” as the parliamentary procedure for conducting their meetings.
The Howard County Quorum Court begins the year with two new members; Liz McDaniel and Janet O’Neal.
