HCCC to host Rotary Radiothon next month
Andrea Murphy who is the Assistant Director of the Howard County Children Center recently spoke with us about the services that HCCC offer. HCCC was established in 1971 and is a nonprofit organization that provides a range of social services for people of all ages.
Britt described the Adult Center as a licensed adult development day treatment center. They have adult clients with intellectual disabilities, autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, enhance life skills and adult skills.
Britt said that they have the Rainbow Learning and Therapy Center, and it is licensed as an early intervention day treatment center and this facility is for children with or without disabilities.
In conclusion, Britt talked about what inspired her to start working with individuals with disabilities.
Britt announced that HCCC has the Rotary Radiothon coming up on Tuesday May 28th and more details will be announced at a later date.
