HCCC’s annual telethon is Thursday from 5-8 pm

The Nashville Rotary Club will be hosting the Howard County Children’s Center telethon this Thursday night from 5 to 8 pm.

Rotary Club treasurer and historian Donnie Woods explained when and how the Rotary Club got involved with the telethon.

This year, the goal for the telethon is $35,000. Woods said the telethon has raised thousands of dollars and all of those funds benefit the center.

Woods said both the Rotary Club and the Howard County Children’s Center benefits from the telethon because of the relationships that are formed between club members and clients.

The telethon will be live on the Howard County Children’s Center Facebook page and on Ed 88. Rotary Club president-elect Jim Pinson and club member Loren Hinton will be the co-host.
