Hempstead County Drug Charges

A Washington resident is facing several felony drug charges in Hempstead County, 45 year old Demetrius Scott is charged with Possession of A Controlled Substance–Methamphetamine with Purpose to Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia to Manufacture, and with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia to Ingest. Prosecutors are also seeking additional prison time charging Scott as a habitual offender.
He has made a first court appearance on the charges and is being held without bond in the Hempstead County Detention Facility.
