High School Bands Compete at Showcase of Bands

The Nashville High School Scrapper band performed at the Showcase of Bands in Little Rock on Saturday. The band scored the highest rating with straight 1’s across the board. Braden Ross received the outstanding drum major award and the band received the outstanding percussion award in class 4A. The NHS band will compete in Little Rock again next week at the Championship at the Rock competition.

The Murfreesboro Rattler band also performed in the competition on Saturday. They received outstanding guard and an overall “2” score. The percussion received a “2” with the guard and drum major receiving a “1” score.
