HMH Board of Director approves Capitol Improvement Purchases
The Howard Memorial Hospital Board of Directors this week has approved the purchase of four equipment pieces for the Radiology Department. Most noticeable to patients, will be a new ultrasound machine. Due to Covid activity, Tuesday’s meeting was conducted via conference call. In making the presentation, Stacy Harberson, said the addition of a new unit will help with the number of ultrasound requests the hospital receives:
The other items purchased include a CT Contrast Injector, TIMS medial unit, and some computer software.
CFO Bill Craig informed the board that the four items were included in the hospital’s capital budget.
Board members also approved the hospital’s investment strategy policy.
