HMH Cafeteria re-opens; Covid cases remain above 500

Howard County climbed to more than 500 active cases of Covid-19 over the weekend and remains there, according to the latest numbers from the Arkansas Department of Health. They show the county with 504 cases at the present time. Sevier County is now reporting the most cases in our listening area, with 556. Numbers in other location counties includes 276 in Pike County and 431 for Hempstead County. Little River County is reporting 386..while Polk County’s latest numbers stand at 269.
Following a few days of virtual learning last week due to increasing numbers of Covid-19, students at the Nashville School District return to the classroom today.
Howard Memorial Hospital has also announced their cafeteria will be open once again to the public, as of today.
