HMH considering partnering with Genetics Institute as lab provider

Last week The Howard Memorial Hospital Board of Directors held their regular monthly meeting.
CFO Bill Craig mentioned that a vendor company called Genetics Institute, had reached out to HMH and is currently looking for a provider to provide lab work in the state of Arkansas. 

Craig stated that he had discussions with representatives of Genetics Institute and he mentioned how they sent over a list of lab work that goes into genetic testing.

Craig stated that he used very conservative volumes compared to what the Genetics Institute provided to him. Craig provided an overview of estimated profits that HMH would bring in if they decide to be on board with the recommendation.

If approved, Howard Memorial Hospital would be the first hospital in the state of Arkansas to partner up with the Genetics Institute. The Board of Directors approved a motion for Craig to keep looking into Genetics Institute before they make a decision to commit to a partnership with this company.
