HMH hosting celebration for being chosen as one of the top 20 Critical Access Hospitals in the U.S.

Howard Memorial Hospital will be hosting a celebration today at 2pm for being selected as one of the nation’s Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals. The event will start at 2pm and be held at HMH located at 130 Medical Circle here in Nashville.

During HMH’s April board meeting, CEO Debra Wright made the announcement to the Board of Directors about Howard Memorial Hospital being selected. Wright said that HMH was also honored in 2013. 

Howard Memorial Hospital was honored by the National Rural Health Association as the top 20 highest ranked of the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in America as determined by the Chartis Center for Rural Health. HMH received notification from NRHA for being identified as one of the 2023 top 20 winners. The designated categories were quality index and patient perspective index. HMH’s latest performance summary index rank was 98.6. HMH will also be honored at an awards breakfast in September of this year in Kansas City, Missouri.
