Hope High School Graduates: By the Numbers
Hope High School graduated 164 students in 2024. 97% of those students applied for college, many seeking associate’s degrees, Trade Certifications, and Concurrent Credit from the University of Arkansas – Hope/Texarkana (UAHT). There were 44 students who received concurrent credit hours and 23 of those students earned their associate’s degrees while working on their High School diplomas. Seven students earned Certificates of Proficiency in areas such as welding, mechanical engineering, and as Certified Nursing Assistants.
Hope High School graduated 6 students Summa Cum Laude, 15 students Magna Cum Laude, and 15 students Cum Laude, including 28 members of the National Honor Society. Students applied to more than 20 colleges and universities including, but not limited to UAHT, UA Fayetteville, SAU Tech, Lyon College, SAU-Magnolia, and Henderson State University. Several students will attend out of state college in Utah and Texas.
Hope High School students received more than $1.5 Million in scholarships.
Among student athletes and band members, Hope High School students received five athletic scholarship signings and six band scholarship signings. There were 9 All-State and 52 All-Conference athletes and band students. Other significant numbers include more than 369 community hours served by graduating seniors, 6 students selected to participate in Arkansas Boys State and 6 chosen for Arkansas Girls State.
