Hope Man Killed in Wednesday Night Crash

A Wednesday night, single-vehicle crash in Hempstead County claimed the life of a Hope man.

According to a preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police, 44-year-old Brandon Goode of Hope was driving a 2021 Ford F-150 southbound on Hempstead County Road 3 at approximately 9:29 p.m.

Police say Goode was attempting to navigate a left curve when he lost control of the pickup. The vehicle left the roadway and collided with a tree.

The State Police reported that it was raining at the time of the crash.

Arkansas State Police Trooper Jacob Haynie investigated the crash.
