Hornets hope to sting the Go-Devils
Mineral Springs will host a familiar foe this week, when the Gurdon Go-Devils come to town in a non-conference matchup between a couple of 2A powerhouses.
Coach David Bennett said the Go-Devils are big and physical and the Hornet defense will need to be prepared for multiple sets from the Gurdon offense.
Bennett said Gurdon has a lot of experience with 20 seniors.
Kickoff Friday night at Hornet Stadium is 7 pm.
