Hospice of Texarkana hosting Kids Helping Kids fundraiser

Hospice of Texarkana is excited to host another “Kids Helping Kids” charity lemonade stand on Friday, July 12, 2024. This event marks the fourth lemonade stand organized by the children of several Hospice of Texarkana staff members, who have collectively raised over $3,400 for various organizations, including Watersprings Ranch, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The initiative, “Kids Helping Kids,” was started by these children who are eager to aid their peers in need. Their next beneficiary is The CALL, an Arkansas-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting children in foster care.

Community Educator of Hospice of Texarkana Brandy McMillion talked the importance of supporting the cause.

The community is warmly invited to support the Kids Helping Kids initiative by making a small donation to The CALL in exchange for a refreshing beverage.
