Hospital Foundation Executive Director Resigns

Members of the Howard Memorial Hospital Board of Directors were informed earlier this week that Terrica Hendrix has resigned from her position as the executive director of the Hospital Foundation.

HMH CEO Debra Wright reported members of the foundation board were working to plan this year’s Hospital gala which is scheduled for February 29th. She said Kim Turbeville mailed out sponsorship packets and they have already received in excess of $33,000 in sponsorships.

Turbeville is also developing save-the-date cards and in the process of finalizing the invitations and tickets.

Wright stated the Foundation Board approved a recommendation to pay HMH staff members to handle to foundation’s financial reports.

Wright said the Foundation has no plans to fill the vacant position at this time.
