HOWARD COUNTY 4-H PROGRAM CONTINUES TO GROW AND THRIVE

Earlier this week, Samantha Horn, the Howard County Extension Agent over 4-H and Agriculture, provided an update on the progress and impact of the local 4-H program — and by all accounts, it’s thriving.

Horn expressed strong confidence in the quality of the program, noting the dedication of the youth involved and the county’s competitive spirit.

Horn also highlighted the achievements of the 4-H ambassadors, detailing the types of food challenges they participated in and how they performed at competitions this year.
In her update, Horn also discussed the outreach efforts across the county, including school visits and hands-on workshops that help students develop valuable life and leadership skills.
With continued community engagement and strong leadership, the Howard County 4-H program is positioned to keep making a positive impact on youth for years to come.
