Howard County 4-H Shooting Sports team holding bake sale for trip to Nationals

In March, the Howard County Shooting Sports team competed int he Championship Senior Shooting Sports Competition at Ferndale and the Howard County team took first place to qualify for the National Shotgun competition in Nebraska.

Howard County 4-H program coordinator, Samantha Horn said Howard County restarted the shooting sports program with the help of Wendy Harris.

The Howard County Shotting Sports team consists of Kat Chambers, Alex Trombley, Christian Trombley and Tanner Harris. Horn stated Howard County had two of the top three shooters.

Alex Trombley described the differences in the different shooting sports.

The 4-H shooting sports team is holding a bake sale fundraiser this Friday at 10 am at Diamond State Bank.
