HOWARD COUNTY AGENT ANGIE FREEL SHARES INSIGHT ON FAMILY CONSUMER SCIENCE PROGRAMS

Recently, Angie Freel, the Family and Consumer Science Agent for Howard County, provided an in-depth overview of the Family and Consumer Science (FCS) programs offered through the extension office — including how she develops and chooses programs that serve the community best.
Freel followed up with a demonstration, explaining her process of designing and evaluating programs. She emphasized how her approach ensures the content remains relevant and impactful.
In addition to program development, Freel touched on some key focus areas she’s currently working on, including vaccination education, the Extension Homemakers Council, and financial management training.
